With back-stabbing princes, luxurious palaces, mysterious party invitations, and conflicting clues about who really killed her twin, Emilia finds herself more alone than ever before. Can she even trust Wrath, her one-time ally in the mortal world...or is he keeping dangerous secrets about his true nature?

Emilia will be tested in every way as she seeks a series of magical objects that will unlock the clues of her past and the answers she craves...

My Review:

This is the second book in Kerri Maniscalco's "Kingdom of the Wicked" Series.
Lavish storytelling, this book is full of intrigue and deceit.
Kerri was definitely not teasing us when she said it was her steamiest book yet. It's artfully sinful and steamy, with a ton of angst.
I absolutely adored the rich scenery of the demon realm and getting to know more of this part of the world of the wicked.
Every detail of this book was dipped with opulence, from the gowns to the ballroom and even the food, no detail was left out.
We get to follow Wrath and Emilia through some mind-blowing plot twists that I never saw coming.
I loved that we got to see more of all of the Princes of the wicked and some of their own kingdoms and that Kerri was able to give us a more in-depth view of their own personalities.
This series is one of my all-time favorites and I'm very excited for the next book in the series.
I highly recommend pre-ordering this book.

Troupes included:
Revenge story,
Break the curse,
Enemies to lovers
Forced Proximity.
